In conjunction with the Shadow Light Foundation, Little Heroes Foundation will host ”Be A Hero Night” on December 19th in American Fork, Utah.
With our Christmas grant to help local families in need this Christmas, the Little Heroes Foundation will help provide Christmas gifts for 33 families. Because of the overwhelmingly positive response we received among donors (especially NSP employees, local individuals and families), we were able to take more families than the original 25 we had planned on. A total of 145 individuals (including 97 children) were served through this project. Beginning this weekend and ending on Monday night Little Heroes staff and friends of Little Heroes will deliver over 1000 gifts to these local families in need. Gifts include clothing items (like boots, coats, gloves, pants, shirts, socks, pajamas, etc.), household items (Shampoo, soap, towels, cooking appliances and utensils, bed sheets and blankets) as well as food packages (including items like flour, sugar, oil, canned fruits and vegetables, spaghetti sauce, rice, noodles, etc.) The circumstances of these 33 families were all carefully considered before determining that they would receive help. They come from various background and were in need based on varying problems (lost jobs, death or illness of parent, etc.) The Little Heroes Foundation has worked hard to ensure that these families will have their needs met while not receiving excessive gifts.
Merry Christmas and thank you to everyone for bringing Hope to so many families this year!
