A dear girl that the Little Heroes Foundation had the privilege of knowing has passed away. Emily Austin struggled through 13+ years of leukemia and finally lost that battle yesterday. She was a true hero to all who had the opportunity to meet her.
Emily Nadine Austin, 19, of Orem passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012 after a long battle with leukemia. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 6, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Orem Cascade Stake Center, 481 East Center, Orem. Family and friends may attend a viewing Sunday evening from 6-8 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the Stake Center on Monday from 9-10:45 am.
