Nepal Health Clinic (Birendranagar, Nepal)

The Little Heroes Foundation funded a health clinic in Birendranagar, Nepal (near Chitwan). The 542,000 people living in this rural area previously had to travel 1-2 days to reach health care. As a result, one in every six children in Birendranagar died before their first birthday. With this new health clinic in place, the infant mortality rate will decrease by 60 percent. The health clinic is estimated to treat 20,000 people in 2012 alone. The funds donated by the Little Heroes Foundation purchased medical equipment including an x-ray machine and other lab equipment. It also helps provide maternal care, pediatric care and basic educational training to the local people about how to better care for their health needs.

The second school continues to provide an education and bring opportunities to more children in rural Africa. The Little Heroes Foundation believes education is the key to success and supports efforts to bring opportunities to rural Africa. We now have over 250 students in our two LHF Academies in Africa.

1st Little Heroes Academy (Mali, Africa)

Children's Hospital (Lyubertsy, Russia)

With the help of the International Women’s club of Moscow, the Little Heroes Foundation supported the Lyubertsy Children’s Hospital through structural and equipment improvements. Five floors of the hospital were renovated including bedrooms, bathrooms, dining halls, nursing stations, directors’ offices, kitchen, laboratory, and children’s playroom with a library. In addition to structural improvements, LHF purchased equipment, including respiratory machines, injection machines, plumbing supplies, electrical supplies, water heaters, windows, new flooring, doors, refrigerators, cribs, beds, tables, chairs, mobiles, and blankets. The Lyubertsy Children’s hospital houses sick babies and children who have been turned over to the state and did not have adequate shelter and care. Little Heroes Foundation believes all children are entitled to proper medical care and safe, respectable living conditions.
